Welcome to the fundraising page for Monash University Peninsula’s Birthing Kit Foundation assembly day 2018!
The birthing kit foundation provides sterile equipment to pregnant women in rural Africa and Indonesia who are at significant risk of infection in their birthing environment. The birthing kits provide materials that prevent infections and consequently reduce the risk of morbidity and mortality for mothers and newborns.

Each birthing kit costs $3 for materials and distribution. The assembly day involves volunteers coming together to assemble the birthing kits. Our goal is to raise $600 to make 200 kits! The details for the assesmbly are to be confirmed, so stay tuned!
