Despite adversity - Lachlan and Alisha see each other as soulmates who's love is meant to be!

Lachlan and Alisha went to highschool together but finally found their connection when reintroduced by a mutual friend at a New Years Eve Party many years later where their love story began. With Lachlan recently diagnosed with stage 4 terminal metastatic melanoma time is running out for them.  

As Alisha put it in their application to My Wedding Wish when asked what makes them special she said: '...well we are soulmates, Lachlan has always encouraged me to do the things I want to, been supportive and I would like to think I will do the same for him....he is my best friend….' 

Now 'My Wedding Wish Australia' is on board to also make their wish come true to be husband and wife! Lachlan and Alisha who have been together as partners, parents and best friends for many years now are about to say 'I do'. Living into having a wedding is putting a whole new perspective on life for them, their children, families and friends. Their wedding wish has been granted, and preparations for their special day in July are well underway!

These wonderful suppliers have stepped up to gift their products, time and services to couples they have never met before because... they can and want to! They do not ask for anything in return - as they intrinsically know that the memories created on these special days, for people like Lachlan and Alisha, are precious and priceless. 

Lachlan and Alisha could not be more grateful - and they are telling their story to the world to help support the organisation that is making their dream come true - despite their current situation they want to help support other couples who are in the same heartbreaking situation...couples whose final living wish is to get married. When asked if they would participate in a fundraising appeal of their own, they jumped straight in without hesitation. They can never pay back what they receive, but they can pay it forward...with your help.
