On Saturday 9th June 2018 we will be shaving/cutting our much loved hair for 2 very good causes. That date was chosen as it will be the first anniversary of the passing of a dear family friend. Sadly Geoffro was taken to soon by bowel cancer.
Skip has chosen cut his much loved hair and donate it to “Hair with Heart” which is a branch of Variety Club. They make wigs for children with cancer and other illnesses which may cause hair loss. Half of the money that we raise together will also go to this wonderful charity.
My hair cannot be used for this as it has been bleached. So I will be shaving my hair off completely and donating half of the money raised to Bowel Cancer Australia.
So family and friends, here it is. We are asking you all to dig deep and make a donation for these 2 worthy causes. In return you will have the self satisfaction of giving back to the community and to top it off you’ll be showing us cool cats that you support us in our venture.
We will endeavour to film the cut and shave for those keen to watch on Facebook live.

Funds donated to the My Cause Gift Fund will be disbursed 50/50 to Variety NSW for the Hair with Heart project and Bowel Cancer Australia. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
