For my birthday, I’ve decided to fundraise for a cause near and dear to my heart - the dogs of the Bali Dog Adoption and Rehabilitation Center (BARC).
Since arriving in Bali, I’ve spent most of my free time at BARC assisting with the care and rehabilitation of Bali dogs. The majority of these dogs are survivors of abuse and abandonment, and face a unique challenge of cultural stigma and lack of resources.
In addition to being a no-kill shelter, BARC provides vaccinations, sterilization and eduction to local dogs and their human community at no charge. The staff works tirelessly to ensure the pups receive the best care available. BARC is a non profit and depends on donations to be able to run properly.
If you are fond of dogs (or me!) please consider donating. You can also go to BARC’s website: https://barc4balidogs.org.au/ to learn more about the excellent work they do. It would mean a great deal to me if you helped support the pups I’ve come to love so much. If you’ve read this far, thank you for your time and support! Love ya.
BARC is a registered Australian not-for-profit animal organisation. We presently care for 350+ animals. With no government funding, we rely on donations from the global community. We aim to relieve the suffering, starvation and abuse of Bali animals through rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing.
