On Sunday June 17th Chris Neate will begin the gruelling task of riding his bicycle from Perth to Melbourne! Chris will commence the ride in Fremantle and finish in Federation Square in Melbourne on Saturday July 7th. He'll be riding 160-180km every single day in memory of his mum Teresa Neate who passed away in September 2016 from a rare form of thyroid cancer. Whilst strenuous, the ride will highlight that no physical challenge compares to the ride a cancer patient and their family goes through. Chris will be meeting with patients and hospitals along the way to further spread the word of The Aftershock and high mortality rate cancers.

The Aftershock
We are a start-up Not for Profit (NFP) organisation raising funds and awareness for high mortality rate cancers. High mortality rate cancers are cancers that are less commonly diagnosed resulting in a lack of research and low improvement on five year survival rates over the last 30 years.
