Watching my beautiful, vibrant grandmother suffer the ravages of Alzheimer’s disease is one of the hardest things my family and I have endured. It’s just over 12 months since we lost our precious Nan and I vowed to do anything I can to raise awareness and funds to help fight this cruel disease. Giving up chocolate for a month is no mean feat. I’m not sure that Nan could’ve done it, so I’ll give it a crack on her behalf.
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far. Thanks to you, I’ve reached $1,000!
But there’s still plenty of time to donate and I’m only half way to my goal.
Please spread the word and consider sharing on your own social media pages so that I can really get that total ticking along. Remember, it’s for a wonderful cause.
Alzheimer's WA continues to directly support people living with dementia, their families and carers. In addition, they offer training for individuals, organisations and community groups to improve the lived experience of dementia.
