Last June, I made the decision to give up chocolate for the month. It wasn't easy but I got through it and now I have decided to do it again. But this time, not in June but in March. Which is when my Year 12 Ball is but also my 17th Birthday. It is a big month for me but I still want to donate money for such a great deserving cause.
For the past few year, my Poppa has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and he is deteriorating quickly. He has had a big influence on my life and I want to try and decrease the risk of this terrible disease. In the past few weeks, my Nanna was diagnosed with dementia. So 2 out of my 3 Grandparents have been hit by this disease and I don't want future generations to go through the same thing as me.
But I can't get through March without your help. Please help me survive this chocolate agony by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Alzheimer's WA, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my chocolate block with your family and friends. I want to try to beat my goal last year. In advance, I am very sorry for all the things I say while I’m choc-deprived but I appreciate your support. It means a lot!
