In august last year tim and cheree hancock supported their beautiful daughter lillian through a major brain surgery to replace a shunt that she has had since she was much younger. On friday night lil became quite unwell and tim and cheree took her to the e.d. and they rushed her by ambulance at around 4am to the royal childrens. The shunt surgery had been all fine until an infection developed in her brain which required emergency removal of her shunt and a temporary valve put in place whilst the infection clears and then she will need to have another surgery to replace the shunt. Tim and cheree have been by her side the whole time and they are both out of annual leave and sick leave (mostly due to being with her during last years surgery as well). I am hoping everyone will dig into their pockets a little bit to help them out during this tough time as covering costs like emergency accomodation, fuel, parking etc. Can add up... to ease the financial pressure would really take a little bit of stress off them during this time as they are likely to be in the royal childrens for at least two weeks *if* all is going well.
