Paying respect to my 9 year old Organ Donor

I spent 5 very long, hard and hellish years on kidney dialysis, and as much as I hated it there were no If's, But's or Maybe's. My only choice was to do it or die.
I received the gift of life from my Hero, a nine year old boy who's name is Jack. He was tragically killed in a car accident. Though it was an extremely sad time for Jack's family they had the forethought to become organ donors.
I now feel that I need to pay respect to Jack and his family and to repay the people and their families who have given their all.

To help promote organ donor ship I will be riding my 13 year old motorbike and undertaking a 2 month, 16,000km ride stretching from: Cockle Creek, the most southern part of Tasmania; going via Alice Springs: to the top of Cape York, the farthest northern part in Queensland.

I will be doing all this on a shoe string budget and with the constant thoughts of trying to keep costs down. My biggest fear is that I won't have enough funds to cover the expenses I will need to accomplish my goal and I will have to withdraw before the end is reached.
I will be ENORMOUSLY GRATEFUL if you are able to help me.

This 16,000km trip will be an extremely long and exhausting journey and I am working very hard to fund all this myself from my 10 hour a week part time job, it is far from an easy task to save the extra $5000 needed to accomplish my heart felt goal. I plan to camp out as much as possible and cook only the food I can carry on the bike. Hoping that my 53 year old body can handle the stress of roughing it after continuous long days on the bike and in the elements of Mother Nature.

Many people never get the chance to have an organ transplant and die before their life is lived to the fullest. This is why Australia desperately needs more people on the organ donor register. This could save your life or that of your families and friends.

Be a Hero, Donate Life, just like Jack did. Don't take your organs to heaven, Heaven knows we need them here.

Take a second to think, how would you feel if you or someone you love suddenly needed an organ transplant and the organ wasn't available?  It can happen to anyone and I was one of those people. I've never drank or smoked and I was in good health, making me often wondered how did I catch this disease? There's no answer for that.

But, will you become a Hero and help me to raise the numbers of organ donors?
