Over the past few visits of Bishop Joel Kakembo to South Australia, I have taken him, touring with him, to HopeNet churches where he has preached the gospel of Christ Jesus to our HopeNet churches. We have supported the school he has built to raise children with the knowledge of Christ.
He has now asked me to go to Uganda, and join with him, singing and testifying in a 4-day Crusade to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ to those of his part of Uganda-Kasangati.
Some of the HopeNet churches have also been supporting the school, which Bishop Joel has built, through the Support A Teacher progam. Some of those children have formed a choir and we will also be launching the choir at the Crusade: Christ's Ambassadors Choir. To do this, we need to raise funds and to provide for the stage, sound, lights and travel to some of the churches in the area.
We are also keen to provide some medical treatment for folk in that corner of the world, and for that we also need funds.
