I am raising money for Nepal Cyclist Ride to Rescue(NCRR). A group formed by Nepalese Mountain Bikers during and after the massive earthquake that hit last year. NCRR provides resources/supplies to remote villages not receiving aid, by riding cargo bikes with supplies to these villages. They have also began to rebuild temporary schools so kids can continue to receive an education, the biggest factor in lifting people out of poverty.
I am heading over to Nepal in December to meet members from NCRR and hand over the donations as well as volunteer time to assist.
I will ride in the Highland Fling - a 100Mile Mountain Bike Race on November 13th, on my single speed and attempt to make the cut off time of less than 9.5 hours. Any donation is greatly appreciated. For more info on NCRR check their website https://nepalcyclist.com/ Thanks!

I did the half fling on an 11 speed, and it was a challenge (my first race!). Can't contemplate full fling, AND doing it single speed blows my mind. Well done. I also work in the field of disaster insurance, so this cause is close to my heart, and incredibly worthwhile...thanks for making a difference to people who have suffered so much.
