Jem, from the moment I stepped into force prep in 2012 and we worked together in a section. I knew I was going to have someone to call a friend on deployment. The battle you have faught to be were you are today are more than commendable. I'm ever so proud of you. Your someone I can look up to when I'm having a bad day, because the strength you endure is something not an everyday person has. Sorry it's not much, I'm a student and it's all I could afford. I've recently been rediagnosed with Crohn's (was UC before). A large part of my life before I was diagnosed was rock climbing and going on adventures like this. I've been struggling with how to deal with my disease so that I can still do the things I love. Seeing this makes me think that someone else is finding a way, maybe I can too. Would love to hear more about how it all goes. Good luck, not just in this but maybe mecifully regaining good health one day. We can only hope right?
