My mother Rachael passed away from bowel cancer on the 25th May 2014 at the age of 41, leaving behind a husband and 3 children. It was very sudden and unexpected, we all still havent come to terms with her passing yet.
I am shaving my head to raise funds for Bowel Cancer Australia on behalf of my mother at my school formal with the support of my school, friends and family. This page was made in memory of my mother in order to raise funds to donate to this cause.
Message from Maddison (17 years) -
" Mum, you are missed and in my thoughts everyday. I wish you were here for my formal and to see me getting my head shaved. Everyday is getting harder and harder because as much as we all want you home you cant come home. This is my last year in high school, Dominick is starting high school and Savannah is starting kindergarten next year. My goal is to raise $2,000 in your memory to help others that are going through the same thing as you did. I love you mum xxxxx."
Bowel Cancer Australia is the leading community-funded charity dedicated to prevention, early diagnosis, research, quality treatment and care for everyone affected by bowel cancer. We make real change happen across the entire continuum of care.

Maddi you have shaved your head to raise money to support bowel cancer. Congratulations this is brave and making a difference. Be proud of yourself, if we all took action to support needs we see in the community the world would be a better place. :)
