My birthday is just around the corner and this year I’ve decided to let my candles brighten the life of others by pledging my birthday to charity. In lieu of a gift ;) or if you'd just like to donate to a great cause, please consider supporting my cause - Crohn's & Colitis Australia (CCA).

When I was first diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, I felt lost, frightened and confused (amongst many other things!). My gastroenterologist suggested I join CCA. Their website, information forums and support groups were a huge help to me in understanding my diagnosis and being able to connect with others.

CCA receives very little government funding and relies on the generosity of the community to raise much needed funds. Check out their website and some of the great work they do representing more than 75,000 Australians diagnosed with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis - https://www.crohnsandcolitis.com.au/

Not only will your contribution make me really happy but it will also go a long way to helping CCA, funding research and hopefully one day finding a cure. Simply hit the donate button above!

Thanks for my birthday present and for supporting my cause :)
