As a young teenager I was forced into homelessness due to an unsafe home situation. Going through these experiences during adolescence can have devastating, lasting impacts – some of which I continue to encounter day to day. I was able to change the course of my life due to finding a strong support network. This is sadly not the case for many young Australians. Organisations such as the ‘Terry Campese Foundation’ provide the support disadvantaged teenagers need to have the best chance of a great future. I’m honoured to play a small part in that.
