Wanting to make sure that other families in the future are able to experience the same extraordinary care that our family did, is the reason why I have chosen to fundarise for Mary Potter.
It was a time when we needed Mary Potter most. We remember the individual medical care for Dad, the special thanksgiving themed family dinner that they hosted for us; Dad's biography written by the Calvary Life Stories Program and the craft and ceramics Dad got to make with his grandchildren (Brad's nephews) that are now treasured mementoes by our family. It was a very sad time but also very special moments that we will remember for years to come.
I will be remembering Dad’s life by cycling 650 KMS from Wynn Vale to Port Lincoln over 5 days (27 Nov - 2 Dec) in support of The Mary Potter Foundation.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a gift from your heart and donation to my fundraising page.
We at The Mary Potter Foundation have an unshakeable belief that caring for people is an honour and a privilege. When people come to the Hospice they experience care which is comfortable, individual and meaningful. We also believe that Mary Potter Care is about living every day, every hour.
