The Story
ImpRes first approached Clinton Heal, CEO & Founder of melanomaWA (mWA) in 2012 to understand how we could contribute to his very important cause of providing Melanoma support and awareness to the WA community and those impacted by Melanoma. We were immediately inspired by Clint's story and what he has been able to achieve since being diagnosed with Melanoma.
Three years on the team at melanomaWA has grown and ImpRes has expanded our support to become the Major Corporate Sponsor of mWA. As part of this relationship in 2015 we wanted to do something fun to raise awareness within the community and provide valuable fundraising for mWA.........and so the idea for a Zumbathon challenge was born!
The Event
ImpRes is proudly sponsoring Perth's first 4 hour Zumbathon challenge as a charity event to raise funds for melanomaWA.
When? Sunday November 22nd 2015
9am to 1pm
Where? Bendat Basketball Centre (previoulsy known as BWA Stadium)

Cost? $40 per person
So SHAKE IT 'TIL YOU MAKE IT and take up the 4 hour Zumba challenge to help raise valuable funds for melanomaWA!
Sign up as an individual or groove as a team.
If signing up as a team, at least one member of the team must always be on the dance floor during the 4 hours!
Prizes will be awarded for the best and most creative Zumba attire and all participants in the event will recieve a gift to celebrate their achievement! Skin Check WA will also be providing two doctors on the day of the Zumbathon (between 9am and 1pm) to perform complimentary “spot checks” for anyone registered for the event. These spot checks are invaluable and normally incur out of pocket expenses so make sure you register for the Zumbathon today and get your skin checked!
Fundraising
Once you register, there is no minimum fundraising requirement however we encourage you to raise as many funds as you can to support people diagnosed with Melanoma, as well as the family and friends that make up their own personal support networks.
Prizes will be awarded on the day for the top fundraising individual and team.
The Cause
melanomaWA (www.melanomawa.org.au) is a non profit organisation originally set up in 2008 to help people in our community who have been diagnosed with melanoma get immediate access to the information and support they need to improve their prognosis. melanomaWA has since gone on to provide support for those indirectly touched by Melanoma, such as families, friends and carers. melanomaWA also provides information to educate and increase awareness in the community about Melanoma preventaion through sun safety, skin protection and early detection.
