Is this THE challenge for YOU!

Graham Woodrup, or Woody as he was so fondly called, was a visionary. The Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay had a humble but successful beginning when Woody's wife Hester and a team of women challenged the Port Fairy Apex Club and another team of local Port Fairy identities to ride in relay from Mildura to Port Fairy in 24 hours. The idea was to raise money for the Port Fairy Hospital and from the very first ride, Woody saw the potential for this event's future.Woody's Murray-to-Moyne. An EVENT .... Not a RACE!

24 hour - 520km - Team Cycle Relay Event - 31 March & 1 April 2012

DO MORE THAN MAKE IT TO THE FINISH LINE

Get sponsored online and ensure the funds you raise go directly to your favourite cause! The Murray to Moyne now offers online fundraising! Simply and create your team Fundraising Page. Follow the prompts to email the page to your family and friends. They can donate by credit card and each donor will be immediately receipted. No paperwork, no cash, no hassles!

This is a 24 hour team relay over a distance of approximately 520 kilometres, starting from the locations of Mildura, Swan Hill and Echuca. You elect where you want to start from and are allocated that start location if places are still available. A maximum of 1650 riders is applied to the event.

It is not an individual full distance ride and certainly NOT A RACE. It is a challenge to cover the distance in 24 hours as a team in relay (refer to Team Organisation on how to assemble and operate a team). Any teams found racing will be stopped. This is in the interests of safety and a directive of the Police. No full distance riders are permitted.

If you do not see your charity in the drop down list when you create your Fundraising Page please contact us and we will arrange their inclusion.
