The Perth March for Melanoma is the premier melanoma awareness and fundraising event in Western Australia. The March is an opportunity for individuals, friends and families to come together to educate themselves on skin and sun safety, while having fun and raising money for an important cause.

The March consists of a walk (up to) 10km and is suitable for people of all health and fitness ranges.

There will also be a 10km run for those competitively minded, with the perpetual Aaron Thomson Trophy being awarded to the first across the line.

The event will have music, entertainment, food and drink, a skin education area and a skin screening service on site for those that would like to get their skin checked.

Australia has one of the highest rates of melanoma in the world and Western Australia is second only to Queensland in incidence rates. It is also one of the most preventable forms of cancer.
