Unlike the major parties, we receive absolutely no corporate funding which means that our candidates can not be bought.

It also means that we need to struggle to collect the funds to run our election campaigns, which are a great opportunity for us to get a hearing for progressive ideas and challenge the power of the major parties which rule for the rich 1%.

We rely on our supporters - workers, students, the unemployed - to help us run in elections.

Bernie Sanders in the United States has funded his election campaigns with lots of small donations. He has been asking for the equivalent of just one hour of your wage.

That kind of donation goes a long way with a small party like us who wants big changes for the rights of First Nations people, workers, students, women, youth, LGBTQIA+ people, refugees and the environment.
