How the rally works?
You must source and old car making sure it is registered, roadworthy, insured and air conditioned for the soft ones amongst us and ready to go on an adventure. You will only need a car , 4WD not allowed as this is a car rally not an offroad rally. However there will be rough and corrugated roads so be prepared.
On the morning of each day you will be issued with the days agenda and route you will follow to next designated stopover. We will make this as simple as possible for the people who cannot follow directions. But dont worry you shouldnt get lost as there will be a support vehicle behind each team to help you along the way. Well thats as long as support can follow directions too!!
When does the rally start?
In 2017 Riverina Redneck Rally will depart Darlington Point, leaving on March 18 and returning March 22. The rally itself runs for 5 days, starting on a Saturday and returning back to town on a Wednesday afternoon. You will need to be at the start location on the Friday afternoon for the briefing and pre rally organisation of Redneck Teams. And at the end stick around for the grand finale post rally drinks on the Wednesday night , along with presentations for teams and individuals for their fundraising and rally exploits along the way.
Your costs
What is paid for by you at your own cost is:

Registration fee $600 per team of 2 (including GST), paid for upon acceptance into Riverina Redneck Rally and this also includes your Riverina Redneck Rally pack (t-shirt, bag, stubby holder).

Food and accomodation approximately $70 per person per day, to be paid around 2 months prior to rally.

Accommodation on for the Friday night and the Wednesday at end of the rally. If needed camping will be available.Contact us for more information.

Fuel Budget for approximately 2500 kms of driving
Fundraising
The aim of Riverina Redneck Rally is to raise much needed funds for Country Hope. Once your team is confirmed you will be able to become an official fundraiser for Country Hope and set up an online fundraising page.

We will be aiming for a minimum of 80% of total funds raised to go to Country Hope

The remaining 20% will go towards covering costs of organising and running rally.
Rally crews
Each car is to have 2 drivers – this is not negotiable
The number of drivers is not negotiable due to the fact that we may need all the spare seats to fit other team members in whose cars have passed away.
Each team must raise a minimum of $2500 to participate in the rally, So with two people per car that only equates to $1250 each for individual commitment to fundraise. Donations can come from friends, family, work colleagues, as well as running fundraising events and sponsorship. Tips on fundraising can be found online and we will recommend some fundraisers to you if need help.
