Kyneton District Health provides services to an estimated population of 42,000 people who live in the Shire and surrounding areas.

Kyneton District Health has a long and proud history serving the people of Kyneton and surrounding districts, having been established in 1854   The current hospital was officially opened by the Acting State Premier and Health Minister on the 25th June, 2003.

Approximately 200 dedicated staff and 55 Visiting Medical Officers at Kyneton District Health strive to provide the highest quality care to the people of the Macedon Ranges.

While Kyneton District Health receives Government funding each year, community donations enables it to develop its services and offer a range of health servies that would otherwise not be possible.  Every hospital needs state-of-the-art medical equipment to enable it to offer the most up-to-date medical care and to ensure that young and experienced staff and doctors are interested in working in rural areas.

Your donation towards Kyneton District Health will help continue the development of this small but vibrant health service.
