Rainforest Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation that has been protecting and restoring rainforests since March 1999. Our projects re-establish rainforests through planting, maintenance, and restoration programs, as well as purchasing and protecting high conservation value rainforest and preserving its biodiversity.
Our vision is to Protect Rainforests Forever. Our mission is to rescue vulnerable rainforests by buying threatened properties; restore damaged and fragmented habitat through reforestation; conserve the biodiversity and cultural heritage of Rainforest; and learn from the forest, sharing and raising awareness.

Rainforest Rescue was established from a community wish to Protect Rainforests Forever. We are committed to building relationships with individuals, philanthropists, businesses, and grant-making organisations through which the majority of our funding is sourced.
We are listed on the Australian Government’s Register of Environmental Organisations which provides us with tax-deductible gift recipient status, enabling Australian residents to make tax-deductible donations to the organisation. We are also registered with the Australian Charities & Not-for-profits Commission and we are Members of the Fundraising Institute of Australia.
