RSPCA Qld is an independent, non government community based charity providing services for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
RSPCA Qld runs 9 shelters, 12 Bargain Barns, 6 volunteer Branches and 4 Friends of Groups throughout Queensland. With 16 full time inspectors employed, RSPCA Qld investigates approximately 11 000 complaints of animal cruelty annually and cares for over 40 000 abused, injured and abandoned animals at its shelters.
