Western College is a not-for-profit, community college that has been serving the educational and training needs of the western region of NSW for more than half a century.
Based in Dubbo, Western College has evolved – and continues to evolve – to meet the needs of business and community members in their pursuit of innovative short courses, continuing education and training.
Our point of difference is our approach, our reason for existing and our community based governance; it is our commitment to the local communities and the niche area we serve; the ground between traditional schooling and tertiary education, employment and personal growth. Community Colleges aim to enrich lives, to strengthen organisations and to build communities through innovative high quality education and training. We offer purpose built training facilities but we will also come to you.
The College is governed by Board of Directors made up of dedicated community leaders. We listen to what the community needs and we tailor our training to meet those needs.
