The Mavericks Dragon Boat Club is a Sydney based club that trains out of Bank St, Pyrmont near the Sydney fish markets. We have been established for over 20 years and have achieved many successes along the way. Our most recent achievement is, qualifying for the 9th Club Crew World Championships in Ravenna Italy in September 2014!
Mavericks Dragon Boat Club welcomes anyone who would like to learn to paddle. Getting fit and meeting a great group of people are two of the fantastic bonuses of joining our Club. We do need to take this moment to warn you; the social camaraderie and competition are addictive.
Dragon boating is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia, with around 20 Clubs in Sydney city area alone. So if you’re looking for somewhere to belong, goals to strive and supportive, fun and friendly environment, then dragon boating with the Mavericks is for you.
We are always looking for new paddlers to come down and enjoy some fun on the water.
