Karumba State School is a small remote school situated on the Gulf Of Carpentaria, that caters for the educational needs of students from Prep to year 7. 
 
Currently our school has 40 students enrolled across 2 classrooms cared for by a Principal, 2 fulltime teachers, 3 teacher aides, cleaner, grounds person, pool supervisor and an administration officer.
 
Our students, staff and the school community continually strive to maintain very high expectations for student outcomes, and school staff, and community relations.
 
We are passionate about education and creating the best possible learning opportunities and life pathways for our students. This is evident in each of our classrooms and the way we do business on a daily basis.
