Tiaro State School is a small rural school set in the township of Tiaro, 25 kilometres south of Maryborough, in South East Queensland. 

Our school offers an educational program for years Prep to year 6 in a multi-age setting. Our current enrolment is 30 students with a teaching principal, a classroom teacher, 2 permanent teacher aides, an administrative officer, cleaner and grounds person. We also utilise, on a circuit basis, a HPE, Music and LOTE teacher.

Tiaro State School was established in 1870 and has strong ties to the families of the district and the community itself. We pride ourselves on offering an inclusive, challenging, differentiated curriculum to our students in a supportive, caring environment.
