In a heartwarming display of community spirit and generosity, Laundy Hotels and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have joined forces this holiday season to support Sydney's homeless. Their collaboration aims to bring festive cheer to those less fortunate through Pass it On's third annual XMAS gifting campaign.

Pass it On Clothing & Co, a Sydney-based social enterprise, plays a crucial role in this initiative. Since its inception in September 2016, Pass it On has been a beacon of hope for Sydney's homeless, offering essential apparel, shoes, and accessories directly to those in need. With their two weekly outreach services, they've been pivotal in distributing quality men’s and women’s clothing donations.

This year, Laundy Hotels, the major sponsor of the Bulldogs, has been diligently gathering over 400 items of clothing to gift during the Holiday Season. Their aim is to spread some Christmas joy to individuals who might otherwise have little to celebrate during this festive time.

In a show of solidarity and commitment, Bulldogs executives, staff, alumni, and the Laundy family, along with Lane Cove lead office staff, united to wrap these gifts. Their combined efforts will ensure that these special presents are ready for distribution to the community's most vulnerable on Christmas Day.

A Morning Breakfast BBQ is planned for Christmas morning at the Woolly Bay Hotel, a Laundy Hotels venue. Here, attendees will not only enjoy a special Christmas meal of bacon and egg rolls but also receive much-needed clothing items.

Diane Langmack OAM, the General Manager of Stakeholder Engagement at the Bulldogs, was present to help with the preparations. She highlighted the importance of this initiative, especially during the holiday season, which can be challenging for many. She expressed how the act of sharing a meal and giving a gift can make a significant difference in someone's life.

The Bulldogs are set to continue their community engagements in the lead-up to Christmas. They will host their 2023 Annual Members Christmas Party at Belmore Sports Ground on December 8th, 2023, and participate in various community events.

The Bulldogs staff and players are also invited to assist in the Christmas morning BBQ at Woolly Bay, further strengthening their commitment to community service.

You can support this cause by contributing to Pass it On Clothing & Co's third annual XMAS gifting campaign for the homeless. Donations can be made through their fundraising page.

Through these efforts, Laundy Hotels and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs exemplify the true spirit of giving, reminding us of the power of community and the joy of helping others during the holiday season.
