This money was raised within 2 months. The family house was sold by Glenda (Dj's mum), Dj sold his car and jetski and the rest of the funds came from the generosity of family, friends and complete strangers. Not only this, but 'My Wedding Wish' got on board and Dj and Steph were given a white wedding beyond their dreams valued at $25,000 along with a reception and all with just 3 weeks of planning.
Dj and Steph are now in Philadelphia. Dj's cells were taken on November 10, but due to a patient death the clinical trial is now on hold so the team can reevaluate their policies and procedures. So far it is looking like this will happen in January.
Are you able to help Dj and Steph with living expenses while they're in America awaiting the go ahead along with the treatment time which could take up to 12 months? All it takes is 200 people to donate as little as $10 a month to give these guys a big $2000 to live off a month. Accommodation comes at a price along with food on the table and other expenses. Ferny Grove State School YEAR 4!

Dear DJ,
We have been thinking of you a lot during our last term at Ferny Grove State School. During our last term the Year 4s have been looking at treating others with kindness. Thanks to one of 4M's students we started our own project to Pay It Forward to DJ.
All the Year 4 classes were involved by donating used books and 4M ran a Mini Book Fair! 4M kids were busy doing jobs such as promotions (Powerpoints, posters and speeches), cashiers, receipt makers, and security! The Yr4 cohort and teachers were excellent as they bought so many books, bookmarks and pencils.
We are sending you our profits of $326.30. We hope that this will help as you and Steph are in the USA. All the best for the surgery and a speedy recovery.
