Roki had a rocky start to his life and needs our help to raise funds for treatment.
I will be running my first half marathon to raise much needed funds to send Roki to India.
A little about Roki - He suffered severe lack of oxygen at birth and as a result has some brain damage and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 5 weeks of age. He continues to fight an uphill battle every day as painful muscle spasms riddle him most of the day.
There is no proven cure for his condition however, there is one therapy that may relieve some of his symptoms. Roki’s treatment in India has started and he will need several treatments before the age of 2. The doctors in India are confident that he will show improvement.
I am running to help Roki along his rocky road and get him to India for his next Stem Cell Treatment. It is a big task and any contribution is much appreciated.
