Hi everyone Imogen and I jumped a total of 42 meters!
Please help me raise as much money as I can. I am Paris McMahon and 11 years old and am raising money for three causes that have real need. 1: Mrs S- Mum's close work colleague and friend has a husband who is very ill with Cancer. He has had several operations and has several more to go. He also broke his hip while undergoing chemotherapy. He has very high medical costs and hasn't been able to work much. At the same time, Mrs S's sister got a terrible golden staph infection which has her in a coma for over a month. She is now in rehab but needs to have a new knee. Mrs. S is trying to help all of her family but I want to do something to help too. 2. The Global School Partners Canberra Sunshine Academy- I have been helping children in Kenya attend school for over a year now. Our school does some great things too to assist. (www.globalschoolpartners.org.au) 3.Hands Across Canberra- This is a great charity that helps send money and help to those that need it the most in Canberra- the homeless, children that are wards of the state, and those less fortunate than me. (http://handsacrosscanberra.org.au/) I am addicted to skiing. My sister Imogen and I will train in December with the Nordic Ski Jumping program in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I think we are the only Australian’s that do this. Imogen and I promise to jump as far as I can to help raise money for Mrs S. and the other charities. Last year we went off two big jumps and managed to jump 23m each- 46m in total for four jumps in the Hitchens Brothers series. The next competition is in January 2014 in Steamboat (we hope to get to 50m in total!). Please help us to help others.
