But it won’t be going to waste, I am going to donate it to a great cause: Beautiful Lengths, they support women with cancer by providing free real-hair wigs to women who have lost their locks through treatment.
I hope to help make someone feel better during their Cancer treatment.
I am also trying to raise awareness and funds for Look Good... Feel Better whose mission is to help improve the wellbeing and confidence of people undergoing treatment for cancer. They provide free information and workshops for women, men and teens to help manage the appearance-related side-effects that may be caused by cancer treatment.
Cut Date is Friday 8 November 2013..... Wish me luck!
Look Good Feel Better is a free community service program provided by the Cancer Patients Foundation Ltd. The program supports Australians undergoing treatment for cancer to manage the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.
