Team Chriso "Fight for the Love of Life"

We are holding an event to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, a disease our 5 year old son Ayden suffers from.
For Ayden, living the life of a normal Prep schooler requires a complicated balance of therapies and treatments, including daily nebuliser sessions and chest physiotherapy, a specialised diet enhanced with enzymes, antibiotics, and monthly hospital check-ups with a team of specialists.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis, and current life expectancy is 37 years old.

On Saturday APRIL 2nd Ayden’s dad Michael is going to step into the ring at Jupiter’s Casino and raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis in honour of our son Ayden and thousands of others that FIGHT daily with pills, nebulisers, tough physiotherapy regimes, invasive tests, sputum’s, needles, IVs, lung functions and lengthy hospital stays...plus much more....just to BREATHE!!
We also do it in honour of those angels who gained their wings too soon at the hands of CF.
We live in hope that we will see a cure in Ayden’s lifetime...its every mothers wish to see their child live a healthy, full & happy long life, and too many are robbed of that from this cruel disease.
All the above is why we do what we do & why Michael can’t wait to step in that ring!

Michael is going to train like a pro for 10 weeks under the expert guidance of former Australian title holder Gavin Topp, ranked #12 in the WBO, as well as a team of professionals, at Fight like a Pro’s Varsity Lakes Gym. During this time he will have his boxing skills honed and gain the fitness and strength needed both physically and mentally to prepare for "fight night".
He will be making his boxing debut at Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast. Stepping into the ring and boxing 3 x 2 minute fight rounds in front of 500+ crowd on the night this coming 2ND APRIL 2016.

It represents a unique opportunity for us to support and extend the effectiveness of Queensland’s only dedicated organisation that assists people and their families in the fight against Australia’s most common life threatening genetic condition, Cystic Fibrosis.
