"I like to ride my Bicycle, I like to ride my bike." But I wanted a good reason to ride further
than I have before. If you can help me raise money for orphans in need, I'll probably wear the
yellow jersey the whole way, and we can both feel great. (My legs excluded!)
ALL money that I raise goes to The Botswana Orphan Project (via registered charity: Helplink
Australia). This QUT affiliated project focuses on building orphan centres in Botswana, Africa, to
alleviate the problem of HIV/AIDS. It's estimated that there are over 250,000 orphans in Botswana
with half of the country's population below the age of 18. The project has already helped to build 5
orphan centres since 2007.
