In 2007, Sonshine FM's very own Rodney Olsen handed himself into the authorities and raised a generous $1300 for Cystic Fibrosis WA. In 2008 he is once again being locked up for a crime he did not commit, but this time he is taking fellow colleague Tim Long down with him. Both announcers are aiming to beat last years total and they are relying on your support to post their bail money.
Convicts for a Cause is one of Cystic Fibrosis WA's biggest fundraising events of the year and a great way to have some fun and help to raise much needed funds for Western Australians living with Cystic Fibrosis. It involves high profile individuals and prominent business community members being locked up and held until they raise their bail money for Cystic Fibrosis WA.
These Convicts will be doing their stretch at Kings Square in Fremantle between 9am and 3pm so why not come down and show your support while they carry out their sentence.
There is NO cure for Cystic Fibrosis but together we can make a difference!
All donations over $2 are Tax Deductable for Australian residents.
