Over the past seven years, DHS staff have participated in the Murray to Moyne and had incredible success with raising money for the different charities the event helps each year, including the Breast Cancer Network; Kidney Health Australia; Angel Flight, and CanTeen last year.

This year, DHS staff are participating in the ride on the weekend of 5 and 6 April 2008, either as cyclists or support crew.

ParaQuad Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to assist people with disabilities to regain, retain and extend their independence. They have particular expertise in the area of spinal cord injury and poliomyelitis; also providing services for people with cerebral palsy, motor neurone disease, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis and stroke.

Fundraising by the DHS M2M team will support ParaQuad Victoria in assisting people with disabilities and their families by providing services such as attendant care, respite care, information, counselling, support and accommodation.
