The 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon was first held in 2008 as a community fundraising event.

In the two years since its inception over $150,000 has been raised for Cystic Fibrosis NSW. The 2010 event hopes to raise $200,000 and attract over 250 walkers.

In order to hit our target of $200k we recommend that all walkers aim to raise $500 each, so if you are entering as a team, set your target @ $500 x number of walkers in the team. Here is a handy guide on how you can raise $500 in one week.

Let’s not forget that as well as fitness and fun this event is about raising much needed awareness and money for Cystic Fibrosis NSW. Without the efforts of our participants helping to raise money through donations and sponsorship this event would not be successful.

Please set up your fundraising page above and see if you can be our top fundraiser!  You will be asked to set a fund-raising target.  This target will help you focus on raising much needed funds.

The 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon 2010 will take place on Saturday 6th March around the famous ‘Bay Run’ spanning the foreshore of Drummoyne, Five Dock, Leichhardt and Rozelle (parking available opposite Le Montage Function Centre).

The endurance 65K walkathon starts at 3am.
Participants who will be walking less than 35km will start at 9am.

Dorothy the Dinosaur will be supporting our walkers between 11am and 2pm on the 6th of March. Ask your friends and family to join her in cheering you on!
