The Verve Energy Port to Point is a long running, community fundraising event dating back to 1977. This year’s event will be held on Sunday 1st November 2009 and will feature two distances; the Be Active 4.5km Walk or Run and the 10km Verve Energy Port to Point Run. The 10km Run will feature a new and exciting course with more views over the harbour and a new start location.

Everyone is encouraged to participate, from elite runners to families with prams and first time walkers. You can also volunteer or support Activ Albany with a donation or by sponsoring a participant online. We encourage all participants to set up a fundraising page and ask their friends, families and colleagues to sponsor them to complete the course or simply to make a donation with all proceeds raised going directly to the work of Activ in Albany.

Activ is the beneficiary of this year’s event and all donations from the event stay in the local community and support Activ’s local services – Accommodation, People, Skills & Community, Albany Leisure Network and Business Services.
