Annually in April each year, L'il Aussie Prems Foundation invites everyone to join us by'Wearing Green for Premmies'. If you have given birth prematurely, know a relative or friend that has experienced the NICU/SCN rollercoaster or lost a precious angel after being born too soon, then join us on Wednesday 9th April 2014.
In 2011, 2012 and 2013, we saw thousands of people join us via our Facebook event by wearing something green. Literally thousands of photos were posted of families and friends wearing a sea of green including supporters wearing our green premmie wrist bands, t-shirts and hats which are available via our website. With the amazing support from all of you in 2011, 2012 and 2013, close to $10,000 has been donated from part of our fundraising efforts to help support other causes. Last year saw us purchase and donate equipment to Monash Medical Centre, Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital, Ipswich Base Hospital and Ballarat Base Hospital nurseries from our fundraising campaign in 2013.
This year, the public have voted and the four hospitals that we will be supporting from part of the funds raised from our event are;

Join us in raising awareness, celebrating all babies born too soon, donate directly and help raise vital funds for our charity. The funds raised will enable our charity to continue our important work, to expand on the services that we currently provide to families, support the hospitals and the community.
We need the support of the premmie community and encourage you to join us on Wednesday, 9th April 2014 by wearing green for premmies.
