Southern Youth and Family Servies do a fantastic job of helping disaffected youth get back on track, find employment and develop skills for life.
Hi my name is Stephen Knightley, event coordinator and thankyou for joining us.
Your $25 registration fee and all sponsorship money you raise really helps a very important local need. As rotarian volunteers we take no administration costs and maximise the benefit.
When you register you will be asked to set up a log in account with your email address. Mycause will then send you all receipts/confirmations, donor notiifications, updates and also provide your own access to run a fund raising campaign page. For those of you who are fundraising - call me if you have any questtions regarding the sponsorhip campaign web page.
If you don't like the on line system give me a call (number below) and I can manage your registration personally. Come in on the day would also be OK.
If you are not riding, you may be here to sponsor a rider - jut select them from the list and donate.
The velodorome is suitable for all levels of riders and all roadworthy bikes - for the unfamiliar, you won't feel like you will slip down the slope - definitely bring your helmet.
If you are a seasoned road rider why not swing by as part of your Sunday road ride, it's all for a great cause.
We will have Great "Beanzy" Coffee, good music and food available so why not relax and enjoy the pleasant surrounds before or after your ride. Inviting family and friends to come and cheer you on will also add lots of fun to the day.
As this is a new annual event, we have a goal of $10,000. Our plan is to be raising $60,000+ annually in a few years when more established. Please make Ride 4 Rotary one of your "Must Do Events" of the year. Maybe consider making a team with work colleagues or family and friends.
