THE CHILDREN OF CAMBODIA FOUNDATION WAS FORMED IN MARCH 2010. ITS AIM IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN CAMBODIA.

Cambodia is recognised as one of the poorest countries in the world. Education is not compulsory and many families find it financially difficult to send their children to school. The main aim of the foundation is to provide financial support to families in the District of Phum O in northern Cambodia by providing school essentials such as books, pens/pencils and uniforms.

Where needed, the foundation will also provide bikes to those children who, without them, would be unable to travel to school.

In addition to assistance to families, the foundation will also fund improvements to school facilities where required and provide assistance to teachers by way of teaching aids and professional development.

The financial support provided by the foundation will assist families and teachers and will increase the numbers of children attending primary schools in the district.
